Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of alkumaiti.com and any order you place through it. Please read them before buying. By using this website you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Who We Are

This website is operated by Al Kumaiti Perfumes, a fragrance business based in Alhmaidya, Ajman, United Arab Emirates.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Al Kumaiti Perfumes. “You” means the person using the site or placing an order.

2. Who Can Order

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. By ordering you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that the payment method you use belongs to you or is used with the account holder’s permission.

3. Our Products

We sell Eau de Parfum, agarwood (oud) chips and bakhoor paste. We describe and photograph every product as accurately as we can, but two honest caveats apply.

Natural materials vary. Agarwood and bakhoor are natural products. Colour, grain, resin content and scent intensity differ from batch to batch and even from piece to piece. This variation is a property of the material, not a defect, and is not on its own grounds for return.

Scent is subjective. A fragrance behaves differently on different skin and in different climates. We cannot guarantee that a scent will smell to you the way it smells to someone else, and personal preference is not a fault in the product.

4. Prices and VAT

All prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include 5% Value Added Tax. Delivery is charged separately: a flat AED 35 anywhere in the UAE, or a flat AED 200 to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman. The delivery charge shown at checkout is final.

We may change prices or run promotions at any time. Changes do not affect orders we have already accepted. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we are not obliged to honour it; we will contact you, offer the correct price, and refund you in full if you would rather not proceed.

5. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges that we received it, but the contract between us is formed only when we dispatch the goods.

We may decline or cancel an order where stock is unavailable, where we cannot verify payment or delivery details, where delivery falls outside the areas we serve, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or resale. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you get a full refund.

6. Payment

We accept cash on delivery, credit and debit cards, and bank transfer. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details. Orders paid by bank transfer are dispatched once funds clear.

We will never ask you for a card PIN, a CVV over the phone, or a one-time password. Any message claiming to be from us and asking for those is fraudulent, and we ask you to report it to us.

7. Delivery

We deliver across the United Arab Emirates for a flat AED 35, normally within two to four working days of dispatch, and to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman for a flat AED 200, normally within five to ten working days. Full details are on our Shipping and Returns page.

Delivery timeframes are estimates given in good faith, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

8. Returns and Refunds

You may return unused, unopened items in their original sealed packaging within 14 days of delivery. Opened fragrance cannot be accepted back for hygiene reasons. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items are always our responsibility. See Shipping and Returns and our Refund Policy for the full position.

9. Safe Use, Allergies and Sensitivities

Please read this section. It matters more than the legal clauses around it.

  • Perfume is for external use on skin or clothing only. Do not swallow it.
  • Keep it away from the eyes and from broken or irritated skin. If it gets in the eyes, rinse with clean water.
  • If you have sensitive skin or a history of reactions to fragrance, test a small amount on your inner arm and wait 24 hours before wider use.
  • Stop using the product and seek medical advice if you develop a rash, swelling or persistent irritation.
  • Perfume contains alcohol and is flammable. Keep it away from open flame and do not store it in direct sunlight or in a hot car.
  • Keep all products out of the reach of children.

10. Burning Bakhoor and Oud Safely

Bakhoor paste and agarwood chips are burned on charcoal and produce real heat and smoke.

  • Use a proper incense burner on a heat-resistant surface. Burners get extremely hot.
  • Never leave burning charcoal unattended, and keep it away from children, pets, curtains and furnishings.
  • Burn in a ventilated room. Do not use in a small unventilated space, and take care around anyone with asthma or a respiratory condition.
  • Let the burner cool completely before moving it or disposing of ash.

You are responsible for using these products safely. We are not liable for damage or injury caused by improper or unattended burning.

11. Your Account

If you create an account, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account. We may suspend an account that is being misused.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse this site: no attempts to gain unauthorised access, no scraping or automated harvesting, no interference with its operation, no uploading of malicious code, and no use of our content for commercial resale without written permission.

13. Reviews and Anything You Post

We welcome honest reviews. Do not post anything unlawful, misleading, offensive, or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may remove content that breaches this and may use published reviews in our marketing. You keep ownership of what you write and grant us permission to display and reproduce it.

14. Intellectual Property

The Al Kumaiti name, logo, product names, photography, video and written content on this site belong to us or are used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

15. Availability of the Website

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it for maintenance or business reasons without notice.

16. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or opportunity.

17. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, courier failure, customs delays, strikes, utility or network outages, public health measures and government action. If such an event occurs we will contact you and, where the delay is substantial, you may cancel for a full refund.

18. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to that order. The date at the top shows when we last revised them.

20. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Emirate of Ajman. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UAE law.
